As we tail towards the end of February, the birds have been re-appearing from their winter migrations. Over the past few mornings, Val has spotted a Barred Owl hanging out in a tree outside of her office window. This morning I made my way over there, hoping it would make another appearance. It was out, sleeping in the warming morning sun. I was able to work my way close enough without disturbing it for a few good images before someone snow shoeing on a nearby trail startled it.
